Ghanaian actor, Stephen Atangah, known by his stage name Don Little, recently shared a troubling incident that occurred while he was abroad, during an interview with Giovanni Caleb on TV3’s Showbiz360.
Don Little recounted how he and his friends tried to enter a nightclub overseas, only to be stopped by the security guard at the entrance. Despite being accompanied by his friends, the guard mistook him for a child due to his small stature and denied him entry.
In frustration, Don Little questioned the guard, which resulted in a threat of police involvement if they didn’t leave the premises. To avoid any legal trouble, Don Little and his friends decided to head back home for the night.
Feeling insulted by the misunderstanding, Don Little expressed his disappointment, stating that he and his friends had simply wanted to have a fun night out. However, they had to cut their plans short to avoid any potential escalation.
This incident sheds light on the challenges faced by individuals with unique physical characteristics while navigating social situations abroad. It also highlights the importance of understanding and tolerance in different cultural contexts.
