Popular figure Abena Korkor has recently shared some updates regarding her employment status at Media General’s TV3.
During an appearance on KSM, Abena Korkor revealed that she is still a part of the Media General team, albeit in a different role. She is now working with the Corporate Productions Communication and Sales department at TV3.
In addition to her current role, Abena Korkor hinted at an upcoming show where she will be making an appearance, with promotional activities already in motion.
It is worth noting that Abena Korkor faced a setback in 2021 when she was removed as a host of the TV3 program, Ladies Circle show. The decision came after a video of her partially nude surfaced on Snapchat and went viral.
Abena Korkor took to social media to announce the termination of her contract herself. She disclosed that her employers informed her of their decision to remove her from the show, citing the controversial video as the reason for their actions.
According to Abena Korkor, the show’s sponsors viewed the video as negative publicity and did not want their brands associated with it, leading to her dismissal.
As part of her announcement, Abena Korkor shared a snippet of the video on her Instagram reel, emphasizing that she is no longer a TV presenter.
