Despite facing challenges initially, she now embraces Islamic practices wholeheartedly, thanks to the guidance of Islamic leaders and the support of her Muslim community.

“It was not easy at the beginning with some of the Islamic teachings and practices,” she admitted. “However, with determination, perseverance, and encouragement from Islamic leaders and friends, I am now enjoying the practices with ease despite my imperfections.”

Akuapem Poloo spoke about the unity in worshiping one God and the peace she has found in her faith. She expressed gratitude to Allah, Chief Imam Sheikh Usman Sharubutu for his guidance, and Alhaji Abdul Salam for facilitating her pilgrimage.
