Dancer and member of Dance with Purpose (DWP) academy, Lisa Quama, has shared her optimism about the leadership of Ghana’s president-elect, John Dramani Mahama.

During a special New Year edition on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning show, Quama expressed her confidence in Mahama’s ability to bring positive change to the country as promised in his campaign.

Quama’s remarks came after Mahama urged Ghanaians to fast and pray for him and his team as they prepare to take over power from the New Patriotic Party.

Despite some skepticism from the public regarding the NDC’s competence, Quama believes that Mahama is up to the task but wants to prepare citizens for the challenges ahead.

She also expressed hope that illegal mining, known as ‘Galamsey,’ will be addressed under Mahama’s administration.

Quama emphasized that Mahama is acknowledging the difficult tasks at hand and has plans to address them, including tackling the issue of illegal mining.
