Actor Prince David Osei has revealed that his aspiration to become the President of Ghana is a divine calling. Despite initial skepticism from many people, Osei firmly believes that this is a calling from God.

In an interview on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Osei shared, “Everyone in this world has something that God gives to them. Sometimes when you speak, they say you talk big but if you don’t say it, it won’t manifest. It’s not even that I want to become a president, I think I have the calling, because I’ve dreamt it.”

The actor went on to explain that he had dreamed of becoming a prominent figure since he was just 14 years old. He also mentioned that Prophet Amoako Atta had made a similar prophecy about his future, further solidifying his belief in his divine calling.

Despite drawing inspiration from America’s first Black President, Barack Obama, Osei faced skepticism from fans and colleagues when he first announced his presidential aspirations in October 2023. However, he remains steadfast in his belief that his dream will one day become a reality.

Osei emphasized that he is not opposed to accepting an appointment in the next NPP government if he has the expertise for the role. He expressed his readiness to serve in any capacity where his skills and knowledge could be valuable.
