Ghanaian music star, Kofi Kinaata, has spoken out about his decision to postpone his pursuit of higher education, drawing a distinction between his path and that of fellow artists such as Samini and Guru.
During an interview with Property FM in Cape Coast, the talented singer of the hit song “By Grace” emphasized that while he values education, his primary focus is on furthering his musical career. Kinaata also highlighted the availability of modern learning avenues, such as online courses, as viable alternatives for academic growth.
While acknowledging the achievements of veteran artists like Samini, Kinaata pointed out that their established careers give them the flexibility to balance education and music. He specifically mentioned Samini, noting that his success in music has allowed him the freedom to pursue further studies alongside his performances.
However, Kinaata clarified his stance by acknowledging his newcomer status in the industry. He stressed the importance of seizing the current momentum in his career and prioritizing his musical endeavors while opportunities are still plentiful.
