Hollywood actress Blake Lively has received public support from her co-stars America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel after filing a legal complaint against her It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
The complaint alleges sexual harassment and an attempt to damage Lively’s reputation.
Lively’s legal team stated that the allegations against Baldoni are “categorically false.” The trio of Ferrera, Tamblyn, and Bledel, who starred alongside Lively in the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, issued a joint statement on Instagram showing their solidarity with Lively.
Author Colleen Hoover, the author of It Ends With Us, also expressed support for Lively, describing her as “honest, kind, supportive, and patient.”
The legal complaint stems from a meeting earlier in the year aimed at addressing repeated sexual harassment and disturbing behavior by Baldoni, who is not only Lively’s co-star but also a producer on the movie.
Lively’s friends and co-stars, Ferrera, Tamblyn, and Bledel, emphasized Lively’s courage in speaking up for a safe working environment during the filming of It Ends with Us.
The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni has sparked controversy in Hollywood, with allegations and accusations flying from both sides.
Lively’s lawyers claim that Baldoni and the Wayfarer Studios’ CEO engaged in inappropriate behavior towards Lively and others on the movie set.
In response, Baldoni’s lawyer accused Lively of making demands and threats regarding the film’s production.
