Musician KiDi has provided reassurance regarding the health of his label mate, Kuame Eugene, following an accident that occurred on the evening of Sunday, March 17.
In an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon, KiDi dismissed any rumors of a life-threatening situation, stating that Kuame Eugene is doing well and “everything is alright.”
The accident took place at CP, near the DSTV office towards the Dzorwulu traffic light in Accra. The Editor for Modern Ghana news portal, Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, who witnessed the incident, explained that a tipper truck was moving slowly when Kuame Eugene crashed into it from behind around 11:30 pm.
Abugri highlighted that the lack of street lights on the N1 highway and the absence of a tail light on the tipper truck contributed to the accident. He emphasized that the situation could have been fatal if Kuame Eugene had not been cautious and was overspeeding.
Upon closer inspection after the accident, Abugri noticed that Kuame Eugene was in the car with one male passenger. Some motorists who stopped at the scene volunteered to rush them to the hospital while Abugri stayed behind for the police to arrive.
Lynx Entertainment, the label of both KiDi and Kuame Eugene, assured the public that Kuame Eugene is responding well to treatment.
