Ghanaian actress Habiba Sinare recently discussed the challenges facing the youth in Ghana on UTV’s United Showbiz program. She highlighted the importance of diligence and criticized the prevalent focus on social media trends among young Ghanaians.
Sinare pointed out that many youths are not actively pursuing career-oriented goals, which adds to their struggles. While acknowledging the government’s efforts under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, she urged against solely blaming authorities for the youth’s predicament.
The actress called on the youth to take their lives more seriously, emphasizing the need to prioritize their future over online presence. Sinare also addressed the issue of job opportunities, encouraging self-reliance and discouraging insults towards those with differing opinions.
These comments come at a time when some young Ghanaians are protesting recent economic challenges, underscoring the necessity for a shift in priorities and a stronger focus on personal responsibility among the youth.
