Ghanaian actor Nana Boakye Ansah, also known as Otumfour Nana, recently opened up about his struggles while living in the United Kingdom (UK) in a candid interview with popular blogger Zionfelix.
In the interview, Otumfour Nana debunked the glamorous image often associated with life overseas, stating that the reality is quite different. He highlighted the challenges and obstacles he faced on his journey towards financial independence.
The actor revealed that during his time in the UK, he worked as a security personnel and also took on a job at a radio platform. Despite his efforts, Otumfour Nana admitted that he found it tough to navigate the demands of both jobs.
The difficulties he encountered eventually led him to make the decision to return to Ghana. Otumfour Nana emphasized that the UK presented a tough and unforgiving environment, contrary to the perceptions held by many.
“UK is tough, it’s not what people assume it to be. There is a lot of hardship going on there. Life overseas is not as people paint it,” Otumfour Nana shared during the interview.
Otumfour Nana’s revelation sheds light on the harsh realities faced by many individuals living abroad, dispelling the idealized notions often associated with relocating to a foreign country.
