Actor and National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament-elect for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, is mourning the loss of his father, Engineer John William Kudzo Anato-Dumelo Snr., just days before his anticipated swearing-in ceremony.
The 75-year-old father passed away shortly after a heartfelt conversation with Dumelo, discussing various topics such as politics, farming, business, and even some gossip. Dumelo described his father not only as a parent but also as his “best friend” and “number 1 cheerleader.”
Devastated by the sudden loss, Dumelo expressed deep gratitude for his father’s constant guidance, support, and love throughout his life. He took to social media to share a moving tribute, thanking his father for everything he has done.
This tragic event comes at a difficult time for Dumelo as he is set to begin a new chapter in his political career as an MP. Despite the challenges, Dumelo remains grateful for the time he had with his father and also extended a heartfelt message to his late mother, who passed away last year.
