Ghanaian actress and socialite Fella Makafui has finally spoken out about the controversy surrounding her recent visit to rapper D-Black’s club and the aftermath that followed.

The incident took place in early April 2024, where photos and videos of Fella Makafui smoking a cigar with D-Black circulated on social media, sparking criticism from her husband Medikal. Medikal publicly expressed his disapproval, deeming her actions disrespectful.

Despite the tension between them, D-Black showed his support for Medikal’s London concert on social media. However, Medikal responded negatively, calling D-Black ‘fake’ and using offensive language, causing a stir online.

During her appearance on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM on April 29, Fella Makafui decided not to delve into the issue, stating that there was no need to discuss it further. She emphasized her respect and loyalty towards D-Black, referring to him as a brother and choosing not to engage with the negativity surrounding the incident.

Fella Makafui made it clear that she did not want to disrespect D-Black and his family, highlighting their close relationship. When asked about her husband’s reaction to the video from the club, she simply replied, “No comments.”

She concluded by reiterating her stance on not addressing the issue any further, stating, “There are certain issues that I wouldn’t want to talk about, and this is one of them.”
