Celebrated culinary expert Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, popularly known as Chef Faila, has added another feather to her cap by receiving the title of Most Promising Young Northern Woman of the Year at the recent sixth edition of the Northern Excellence Awards.
This recognition comes on the heels of her Guinness World Record attempt in Tamale, which not only aimed to make history but also showcased the culinary delights of the Northern Region, attracting tourists and food enthusiasts.
The Northern Excellence Awards, organized by the Celebrities Charity Development Foundation, serve to honor individuals and organizations that are making significant contributions to the development of the northern sector. The event, which covers various categories, recognizes excellence and impact in different fields.
Several notable figures received special recognition at the ceremony, including Rafiq Iddrisu, Ibrahim Jabir Mohammed, Makid Bilal, and Ibrahim Abu Hassan Rhyzo, for their exceptional contributions to their respective fields. Additionally, individuals like Haruna Mahama, Alhassan Abdul Karim, and Dr. Doliwura Zakaria were lauded for their roles as Media Personality of the Year, Young CEO of the Year, and Strategic Investor of the Year, respectively.
The awards ceremony also highlighted the achievements of organizations such as the Savannah Women Integrated Development Agency and individuals like Alhaji Amin Iddrisu for their impactful societal work and humanitarian efforts.
Madam Joyce Bawa Mogtari, Alhassan Ali, and Mujahid Ahmed Bello, known as Fancy Gadam, were also recognized for their outstanding contributions in various fields.
