Renowned culinary expert Chef Faila Abdul Razak, popularly known as Chef Faila, is set to represent Ghana on the global stage at the upcoming International Horticultural Expo in Doha, Qatar, this Saturday (9 March).
Although Chef Faila recently faced a setback in her attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest individual cooking endeavor, she has received an exclusive invitation from the Ghana Tourism Authority. This invitation grants her the opportunity to collaborate with a local caterer in showcasing the rich and diverse flavors of Ghanaian cuisine.
Excitedly sharing the news on her Facebook page, Chef Faila expressed her eagerness to highlight Ghana’s cultural heritage through its traditional dishes. At the expo, she will be presenting a variety of Ghanaian delicacies and authentic beverages such as millet drink, cocoa drink, and sobolo to the international attendees.
In a press release, Chef Faila stated, “Participating in the International Horticultural Expo is a fantastic chance for me to introduce Ghanaian cuisine to a global audience. I am honored to represent Ghana and display the extraordinary flavors that define our culinary legacy.” Chef Faila will depart for the event tomorrow and will be participating until Tuesday (12 March).
This opportunity not only allows Chef Faila to showcase her culinary skills but also puts the spotlight on Ghana’s rich culinary heritage and diverse flavors.
