The marathon singing session took place at the Heroes’ Park at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, showcasing the diverse range of Ghanaian music to captivated audiences.

After completing her marathon, Afua expressed her satisfaction at promoting Ghanaian songs and credited her dedicated team for their support throughout the endeavor.

Her team, consisting of individuals like her manager Gladys Osei Owiredu and her husband Kofi Owusu Aduonum, played crucial roles in ensuring the success of the record-breaking attempt.

This was not Afua’s first endeavor to break the record, as she had previously sung for 126 hours in 2023 but did not qualify due to technicalities. Undeterred by the setback, she returned this year more prepared and motivated, ultimately completing 121 hours and 39 minutes of continuous singing.

Now, Afua and her team are focused on submitting evidence to Guinness World Records for review, including video footage, witness statements, and logs to validate her achievement.

If successful, Afua will officially become a Guinness World Record holder and make history with her incredible feat of endurance and talent.
