Ghanaian media personality Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey, popularly known as Abeiku Santana, has officially been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
Abeiku, who is also the CEO of Kaya Tours Ghana Limited, made the announcement on his Facebook page on Friday, February 28, 2025, expressing his gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for the appointment.
In his post, Abeiku stated, “Thank you, Your Excellency Mr. President. I am deeply honored and profoundly grateful for the trust and confidence you have placed in me by appointing me as the Acting Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
This opportunity is a great privilege to serve you and the good people of Ghana under your visionary leadership. With deepest gratitude and respect. God bless our dear Nation.”
Born in Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana, Abeiku Santana received his education from various institutions including Nana Kwaku Boateng Experimental School, Ghana National College, Ghana Senior High School, University of Cape Coast, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, and University of Ghana Business School.
He holds a master’s degree in Tourism Management, a Post Graduate in Public Administration, and another master’s degree in Business School. Additionally, he is an Associate in Legal Studies and Litigation and holds an advanced Certificate in Public Relations and Advertising.
