Gospel musician Erico has recently opened up about a shocking experience he had while trying to help a young man in need, which ultimately led to tension between him and his girlfriend living abroad.
Erico shared that he had taken the decision to assist a homeless boy who attended his church, despite not being financially stable himself at the time. His girlfriend overseas was the one supporting him financially, so he allowed the boy to communicate with her at times.
Unfortunately, things took a negative turn when the boy started intercepting support meant for Erico from his girlfriend, without Erico’s knowledge. This escalated to the point where the boy even went as far as sending videos of Erico with another woman to his girlfriend, leading to a breakdown in their relationship and the halt of financial support from her.
During an interview on the Okukuseku show hosted by Emelia Brobbey, Erico expressed his disappointment in the boy, who had betrayed his trust and disrupted his relationship. He emphasized the impact of such incidents on people’s willingness to offer help to those in need.
