Afrobeat sensation King Promise emerged as the standout winner at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), held on May 10 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
In a night brimming with glamour, electrifying performances, and heartfelt tributes to Ghana’s music legends, King Promise took home the prestigious Artiste of the Year award.
Facing tough competition from renowned artists such as Stonebwoy, Black Sheriff, Kwaku Smoke, King Paluta, Joe Mettle, and the gospel group Team Eternity, King Promise’s victory marked a significant highlight of the evening.
In addition to the main award, the night recognized other talented individuals in the music scene, with Beeztrom Kotm being honored as the Best New Artist of the Year.
Stonebwoy also celebrated success, claiming the title of Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year.
