Ghanaian Highlife artist, Kofi Eiphos, also known as Isaac Oteng, recently made history by starring in a monumental Jesus Christ’s crucifixion play in ULM, Germany on Easter Friday [April 18].

While many people celebrate Easter through church services and family gatherings, the community in ULM decided to bring the biblical story to life through a grand theatrical performance.
Kofi Eiphos took on the role of a Roman soldier in the reenactment of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion, making him the first Ghanaian musician to be part of such a grand production in Germany.
Despite being known for his captivating music and dance performances, he brought a unique energy and presence to his role in the play.
After the performance, Kofi Eiphos expressed his gratitude for the opportunity, calling it a humbling experience. He was impressed by the dedication of the cast and crew and the warm welcome he received in Germany.
