Gaga’s rise to fame in 2009-10 was extraordinary. One of the first pop stars to utilize the power of the internet, she was constantly in the eye of the media. With numerous outfit changes and sounds over a short period, critics compared her to Madonna on fast forward.

As her popularity grew, the headlines became more bizarre – from rumors of satanic rituals to being a hermaphrodite. Even her infamous meat dress at the 2010 MTV Awards was met with confusion.

Despite being an idol to her fans, Gaga admitted in the documentary “Five Foot Two” that she felt alone every night. The isolation took a toll on her, leading to a fear of facing life alone.

However, things changed when she met her fiance, Michael Polansky in 2020. Their engagement was announced at the Venice Film Festival, where Gaga flaunted her million-dollar ring. Interestingly, Polansky initially proposed using blades of grass from their backyard, symbolizing a simple yet meaningful gesture.

The new album, Mayhem, explores Gaga’s emotional journey, with a track titled “Blade of Grass” dedicated to Polansky. The album signifies Gaga’s return to pop, influenced by her fiance’s encouragement to focus on making music that makes her happy.

Mayhem reflects Gaga’s growth as an artist, as she embraces her true self and takes ownership of her music. The album’s themes touch on fame, duality, and self-acceptance, marking a significant evolution in her career.
