“Don’t ever call me to your shows” – Sista Afia to selfish female artistes

Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has come out to expose the ungrateful nature of some female artistes in the industry. Speaking on Daybreak Hitz with DJ Slim, Sista Afia expressed her disappointment in female artistes who use her but do not promote her music.

She emphasized her frustration by saying, “Don’t ever do shows and call me. They know themselves.” This statement sheds light on the lack of reciprocity and support among female artists in the industry.

Furthermore, Sista Afia touched on the issue of female artistes not receiving the recognition they deserve in the country. She highlighted her hard work and dedication to her craft, stating that without music, there would be no Sista Afia.

The musician also revealed her grueling work schedule, stating that she only sleeps for about 3 to 4 hours a day. Despite her relentless efforts, she feels that her work often goes unnoticed and unappreciated.

In light of these challenges, Sista Afia is now taking steps to change her approach to publicity and branding. She acknowledges the importance of learning and adapting to the industry to make her brand successful.

Currently, Sista Afia has released a new song titled ‘Krekete Soja,’ featuring Amerado. This new track showcases her talent and determination to succeed in the music industry.
