With the Ghana Dance Industry Awards approaching, the anticipation and excitement are building up as fans debate on who should win the coveted Dancer of the Year award.
The nominees for this prestigious category include Dancegod Llyod, Afronitaaa, Endurance Grand, Incredible Zigi, Bboy Lyricx, and Ezunte Flex.
Supporters of these talented dancers have taken to social media to showcase their backing, highlighting the impact and contributions of each nominee to the dance industry in the past year.
Alongside the Dancer of the Year category, other awards up for grabs include Dance Athlete of the Year, Traditional Dance Group of the Year, Street Dance Group of the Year, and Praise Dance Group of the Year.
The Ghana Dance Industry Awards aims to celebrate and recognize Ghanaian dance icons and stakeholders who have played a significant role in the development of dance within the industry. The event will bring together all facets of the dance fraternity, with performances by some of the industry’s top talents.
In its second edition, the GHADI Awards will take place at the National Theatre on February 8, 2025. Tickets for the event are available for purchase, with standard tickets priced at GHS 100 and VIP tickets at GHS 200.
