Ghanaian musician Maxi Sway, also known as Alex Bonsu, has collaborated with the talented Kweku Darlington on a new song titled ‘Efie Bayie’. This track is part of Maxi Sway’s latest EP called ‘Love And Life’, which features a total of five songs.
The ‘Love And Life’ EP, written and performed by Maxi Sway, is inspired by real-life experiences. In fact, Maxi Sway shared that ‘Efie Bayie’ was inspired by a challenging situation that his producer, Ssnowbeatz, went through in the past.
A few years ago, Ssnowbeatz fell ill just before the B.E.C.E exams and had to write his papers in the hospital with minimal preparation. Unfortunately, due to his health condition, he failed the exams and did not even collect his results. This story deeply moved Maxi Sway and became the inspiration behind ‘Efie Bayie’.
The music video for ‘Efie Bayie’ was directed and shot by Mista Morgan, adding visual depth to the emotional track. Other songs on the EP include ‘Meganja’, ‘Wayo Love’, ‘Come Closer’, and ‘Seke’, all of which have been well-received by fans. The songs were produced by Klassic Beatz and Ssnowbeatz.
