Renowned Ghanaian journalist, Kofi Adomah Nwanwani, is currently in Dubai receiving urgent medical treatment to restore sight in one of his eyes.
This medical emergency comes after an accidental shooting incident that took place at a funeral in Dormaa in the Bono Region last week.
Reports exclusive to Ghanaian.com indicate that the unfortunate accident occurred during the firing of musketry by some chiefs at the traditional event.
Sources close to the Kofi TV CEO revealed that Kofi Adomah was repositioning himself when gunpowder from one of the guns struck his face, causing severe injury to one of his eyes and leaving him unable to see.
Furthermore, the incident also affected his other eye, resulting in blurry vision. Although initial medical attention was provided in Ghana, he was later transferred to Dubai for specialized treatment.
A source shared, “He’s now in Dubai seeing to restoring the one eye that is blurry. But it looks like the other one cannot see again.”
