The Duchess of Sussex’s highly anticipated new Netflix show has been delayed until March due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Netflix announced.
The lifestyle series, which was filmed in southern California, was originally set to premiere this week. However, in light of the wildfires that have ravaged the area and claimed the lives of at least 16 people, Meghan Markle requested a postponement, which Netflix fully supported.
The upcoming programme, titled “With Love, Meghan,” is described as a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California. The show, which includes eight 30-minute episodes featuring appearances from celebrities like Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, will now debut on 4th March.
In a statement, Meghan expressed her gratitude to Netflix for accommodating the delay, as the focus remains on supporting those affected by the wildfires.
The trailer for “With Love, Meghan” showcases the duchess garnishing a cake with raspberries and harvesting honey in California, where she resides with her husband Prince Harry and their two children.
