Ghana’s music industry witnessed a historic moment as breakout sensation AratheJay wowed fans with his debut headline performance at the “Nimo Live” concert on December 19.

The Alliance Française amphitheater was filled to capacity, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment.

The night kicked off with electrifying performances by Ess the Legend, Anabel Rose, Kelvin Black, Vondee, and Gonaboy, each bringing their unique style to the stage.

The excitement continued to build as rising stars AlorG and BhadMayors took the spotlight, captivating the audience with their hit song “Free My Mind.”

However, the highlight of the evening was AratheJay’s performance. Dressed in a stylish denim ensemble, he mesmerized the crowd with soulful renditions of his unreleased track “Zion” and his entire EP “Finding Nimo: The Capsule.”

The show took an unexpected turn when B4Bonah joined him for a surprise collaboration on “Want to Marry,” followed by appearances from King Promise, EL, and Medikal.

The climax of the night came when AratheJay performed “Jesus Christ” alongside Black Sherif, sending waves of excitement through the amphitheater.

The show ended on a poignant note as AratheJay announced that “Nimo Live” would become an annual tradition on December 19, coinciding with his birthday.

The success of the concert was not just in the star-studded lineup but in AratheJay’s ability to strike a balance between entertainment and authenticity.
