Prophetess Lesley Osei, the wife of the renowned social media evangelist and founder of Kingdom Full Tabernacle International Ministries, Apostle Dominis Osei, recently opened up about the misconceptions surrounding her appearance in Ghana.
In an interview on Joy Prime’s Changes show with Roselyn Felli, Prophetess Lesley revealed that many Ghanaians, including her husband’s family, initially thought she was a foreigner or “Akata Ni” because of her non-traditional Ghanaian look.
Despite being born in America, Prophetess Lesley emphasized her strong Ghanaian roots, as her parents are both Ghanaians, and she spent several years living in Ghana during her childhood.
Contrary to the assumptions about her appearance, Apostle Osei, her husband, saw her differently due to their longstanding friendship. Having known her since she was a young girl, Apostle Osei never viewed her as an outsider.
Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship, leading to their marriage and the birth of their six children.
The couple, known for their viral marriage proposal videos and miraculous testimonies, will be hosting a two-day ‘Revival Culture’ event in Ghana at the Physicians and Surgeons Centre in Ridge, Accra on 12th and 13th December 2024. The event aims to spread the message of God’s miracles and is open to all who wish to attend.
It is essential to note that the term “Akata” is commonly used in Ghana to refer to individuals with a stylish or flamboyant demeanor.
