Ghana Polls 2024: we shall bounce back stronger – David Osei on NPP’s loss

Award-winning Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei, has extended his congratulations to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their projected victory in the 2024 elections.

The Electoral Commission is yet to officially declare the results, but provisional results show John Mahama of the NDC leading in the Presidential race.

The NDC has also claimed victory in Parliament, announcing that they have secured 185 seats. The flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has conceded defeat and congratulated John Mahama on the NDC’s victory.

The Electoral Commission is currently collating the final results and is expected to officially announce the outcome of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections later today, Monday, December 9.

In a tweet on December 8, 2024, Prince David Osei, a strong supporter of the NPP, and Dr. Bawumia expressed his disappointment with the election outcome but maintained his support for the NPP.

He praised Dr. Bawumia’s “audacious solution-oriented policies” and commended his team for their efforts during the campaign.
