With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, Kwabena Kwabena believes that Highlife is the key to creating timeless and popular music.

Despite the perception of Highlife as outdated by some, Kwabena Kwabena believes that it is still the foundation of Ghanaian music and a sure way to produce chart-topping tracks.

“Highlife is thriving, and if you want hits, stick to the genre. Some people may think it is old-school, but many of Ghana’s top hits, such as Fameye’s Very Soon, King Paluta’s Makoma, KiDi’s Lomo Lomo, and even Stonebwoy’s Jejereje are all rooted in Highlife,” he explained.

Reflecting on his two-decade-long music career, Kwabena Kwabena expressed gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support. He considers staying relevant in the industry for such a long time to be his greatest accomplishment.
