Germany-based Ghanaian Highlife sensation, KofiEiphos, has revealed that his upcoming Christmas song, ‘Afehyia Pa,’ is poised to bring Ghanaians together following the General Elections on December 7, 2024.
The highly anticipated track, featuring Dante Thompson, is said to be the song that will unite the nation after the polling day.
In an interview with GhanaWeekend, KofiEiphos expressed his confidence in the song, stating that it was crafted in a way that will resonate with everyone.
He emphasized that “It is a Christmas song, and per how it was produced, everyone will reverberate with it…It is actually the song for everyone.”
The Highlife star also used the opportunity to call for a peaceful electoral process, urging that elections should not be a source of conflict but rather an opportunity for citizens to exercise their right to choose their preferred leaders.
Drawing from the recent US elections, he highlighted the importance of ensuring a free and fair election devoid of violence.
Set to hit the airwaves on December 1, ‘Afehyia Pa’ translates to ‘Merry Christmas’ and is expected to spread joy and unity during the festive season. KofiEiphos, known in real life as Isaac Oteng, is renowned for his hit songs like “Abenaa” and “DJ 50 50.”
