Kuami Eugene, the talented highlife musician, recently expressed his gratitude towards the church for shaping his artistry as a musician.
He credits the church for nurturing his musical talent, stating that he learned to play musical instruments while growing up in the church environment.
In an interview with Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z, Kuami Eugene shared, “The church made me, I learned everything I know from the church. When I was young, I knew I would become a very great musician.
So I told myself I should prepare so well before I got to the top.” He also mentioned that he plays various musical instruments, including the piano, trumpet, drums, and guitar.
Furthermore, Kuami Eugene revealed that he learned how to do backflips to enhance his performance. In addition to honing his skills in music production by taking a course in the field, he started his music journey as a gospel artist under the Eugene Marfo Ministries.
Although he does not classify himself as a gospel artiste, Kuami Eugene still collaborates with gospel musicians and has written songs for artists like Joyce Blessing and Empress Gifty.
He also performs gospel songs at churches and church events, showcasing his versatility as a musician.
