Renowned Ghanaian actor Majid Michel and Nollywood sensation Ramsey Nouah were the stars of the show at Netflix’s annual event, Lights, Camera…Naija.
The event, which aimed to celebrate the pioneers, pillars, and players of the Nigerian film industry, was attended by various African movie stars and the minister of arts, culture, tourism, and creative economy, Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa.
The night was a spectacular showcase of Nollywood’s essence, blending the magic of film with stunning fashion moments. Guests arrived in their cabaret chic attire and were welcomed by host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Netflix took the opportunity to honor the pioneers, who are the practitioners who laid the foundation of Nollywood, the pillars, who are the behind-the-scenes talent, and the players, who are the on-screen stars that captivate audiences.
Ben Amadasun, Netflix’s VP of Content for the Middle East and Africa, also graced the event with his presence. Among the notable attendees were Obi Asika, IK Ogbonna, Chioma Akpotha, Osas Ighodaro, Alex Ekubo, Uzor Arukwe, Adeniyi Johnson, Ronke Ojo, and Saheed Muhammed.
