Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the leader of Prophetic Hill Church, has candidly admitted that he sometimes gets his prophecies wrong.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM, he confessed that no prophet is perfect and that making mistakes is a part of being human.
Gaisie revealed, “Sometimes God will twist your mouth, your lips to make a mistake so that you the vessel will know that you are a human being. Sometimes I get it wrong.
That is why you have to always be sharp spiritually. That is why in the space of a prophet, we don’t like disturbances. My emotions are very important to me because I can see red and misinterpret it. And so sometimes we get it wrong.”
He attributed some of his past mistakes to his lack of education and mentorship when he was younger in ministry.
Gaisie expressed regret over certain errors he made in the past, acknowledging that he did not have the guidance he needed at that time. However, he acknowledged the importance of mentors like Reverend Eastwood Anaba, who provided valuable guidance and support.
Reflecting on a prophecy he made about former President John Mahama winning the 2020 elections, Gaisie admitted that the backlash he received was due to his inexperience in effectively communicating the messages he receives from God.
Despite this, he boldly prophesied that the New Patriotic Party would lose the upcoming general election.
Known for his prophecies about political figures, celebrities, and events in the country, Prophet Nigel Gaisie’s humility in acknowledging his fallibility serves as a reminder that even religious leaders are not infallible.
