Stonebwoy has shut down any hopes of a remix of his song “Jejereje” featuring Skrewfaze.
In a recent interview on Onua TV, the Afro-dancehall musician made it clear that such a collaboration will not happen.
He explained that while many fans have suggested a remix with Skrewfaze, he is focused on projects that will bring him commercial success.
Stonebwoy emphasized that any remix of “Jejereje” with Skrewfaze would not add any commercial value to the song.
The decision to not collaborate with Skrewfaze aligns with Stonebwoy’s belief in making strategic moves for financial gain. He highlighted that his management team plays a significant role in deciding who to feature on his songs.
Despite the speculation about a potential remix, Stonebwoy emphasized that Skrewfaze could have done a rendition of the song without being formally invited. The artist acknowledged the interest from fans but stressed the importance of considering the financial implications of such collaborations.
Skrewfaze, known for high-tempo Francophone-influenced songs like “Gbalagazaa,” has been a prominent name in the music industry for over two decades.
