Another thrilling episode of Joy Prime’s culinary show, Big Chef Tertiary, aired last Sunday with representatives from Cape Coast Technical University bidding farewell after failing to impress the judges.
The contestants were challenged to create innovative traditional dishes that celebrated the rich culinary heritage of their regions. However, Koforidua emerged as the “Star school of the day” for the first time.
The episode took an exciting turn when the host, Michelle Agyekum, surprised the contestants with secret ingredients they had to infuse in their meals. This unexpected twist added a new level of intensity to the competition as the contestants raced against the clock to impress the judges.
As the dishes were tasted, the judges commended teams that successfully balanced innovation with respect for local flavors. Unfortunately, representatives from Cape Coast Technical University, Linda and Elizabeth, were eliminated from the competition.
Next Sunday, the remaining six tertiary institutions will face the “Flavor Infusion and Indomie Challenge.” With 30 minutes to showcase their creativity in the kitchen, the pressure is on to impress the judges and secure a spot in the competition.
