The group of adventurous travelers known as Wanderlust Ghana has opened up about the challenges they face during their expeditions.

In 2023, Wanderlust Ghana embarked on a 10,000-kilometer journey from Accra through several African countries to London, passing through other European countries along the way.

Now, the group is gearing up for an even more ambitious adventure as they prepare to travel 30,000 kilometers across 30 countries in a three-month journey starting on Monday, September 30, 2024.

This epic journey will take them through a variety of terrains, from the deserts of Mauritania to the modern skyscrapers of Dubai, and finally to the southern tip of Africa in Cape Town.

During an exclusive interview on Channel One TV’s The Chat, Wanderlust Ghana members revealed some of the challenges they encounter on their trips, including having to beg for food at times.

“We don’t get time to eat… Whatever you see is what you eat… We sometimes beg for food… We even begged for bread in Morocco,” they shared.

For this year’s trip, the group plans to travel with just 6 people, using three vehicles for safety reasons.

Each car will carry two individuals, with one person monitoring the radio while the other drives, and they will swap roles throughout the journey.

Among the members participating in this year’s expedition are Kwabena Peprah, Kofi Peprah, and Kwame Peprah, also known as the Peprah brothers.

The Peprah brothers are involved in real estate in Ghana, owning properties like Ritz Square at Ritz Junction, Rocky’s Nest at Adenta West, and the Blay Apartments at Oyarifa in the Greater Accra Region.
