Business magnate and Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, is facing a lawsuit from former CNN host Don Lemon over a canceled show on the streaming platform X.
Lemon, who previously hosted “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon,” alleges that Musk’s company, X, breached their contract by abruptly canceling the show without proper justification.
Lemon claims that he had already begun production on the show and invested significant time and resources into its development before the sudden cancellation.
According to Lemon’s legal team, the lawsuit seeks damages for breach of contract, as well as punitive damages for the harm caused to Lemon’s reputation and potential earnings.
The lawsuit also alleges that Musk and X acted in bad faith by canceling the show without warning or offering Lemon the opportunity to address any concerns.
Musk has not yet publicly commented on the lawsuit, but sources close to the entrepreneur have stated that he stands by X’s decision to cancel the show and believes it was done in the best interest of the company.
