Renowned legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw, has recently revealed that he is a proud father of seven children, all from different women.
Among his children, he has two sets of twins and three other children from separate relationships.
Tragically, Ampaw lost his first wife on February 18, 2021, but has since remarried in 2022. In a candid interview on The Delay Show, he opened up about his extramarital affairs while his late wife was alive, which resulted in the birth of three children.
Ampaw defended his actions by stating that his ability to father children with multiple women showcases his versatility and responsibility as a father.
After the passing of his first wife, he realized that his children were in need of motherly care and attention, as they were being neglected by extended family members.
This realization led him to marry Celestina, a longtime friend of over seven years, who provided the affection and care his twins needed.
Despite facing criticism for his decisions, Ampaw maintained that he had good intentions for every woman he had children with and did not view his behavior as reckless.
He clarified that his marriage to Celestina was not solely for the well-being of his children, but also out of genuine admiration for her.
The strong bond he shared with Celestina, who had cared for him during his visits to Kumasi, made the decision to marry her after his wife’s passing an easier one.
