Ola Michael fires Adom Kyei Duah over ‘Jesus’ face’ comment

Entertainment pundit Ola Michael has taken a stand against Adom Kyei Duah, the leader of the Believers Worship Centre, for his recent controversial remarks that have sparked outrage online.

In a viral video, Duah claimed that he had been instructed to replace images of Jesus Christ with his own for the next 500 years. This statement has not gone down well with many, including Ola Michael, who expressed his disapproval in a video shared by Accra-based Neat FM.

Ola Michael pointed out the absurdity of such a proposition, especially in the face of global concerns about long-term food security. He highlighted the efforts of wealthy individuals who are safeguarding seeds and food crops for future generations, contrasting this with Duah’s focus on replacing his own image with that of Jesus.

“What we should be focusing on are issues like food security and sustainability, not trivial matters like replacing images of Jesus with one’s own face,” Ola Michael said in the video.

His remarks are in line with criticisms from other religious leaders, including Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwah (Opambour) and Rev. Bernard Amankwah, who have also spoken out against Duah’s controversial statements.

It is clear that Duah’s comments have not only raised eyebrows but also sparked a larger conversation about the priorities and values that should be upheld in society. As Ghanaians grapple with various challenges, it is important to remember what truly matters and work towards building a better future for all.
