Lilwin’s ‘A Country Called Ghana’ nominated for 2024 Nollywood Film Festival

Ghanaian actor, Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, has scored a nomination for his latest movie, ‘A Country Called Ghana’. The film is set to be screened at the 2024 Nollywood Film Festival in Germany, showcasing a collaboration between Ghana and Nigeria.

Directed by Frank Fiifi Gharbin and executive produced by Lilwin himself, ‘A Country Called Ghana’ features a star-studded cast including Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, and Victor Osuagwu. The movie aims to not only entertain but also educate audiences on the importance of preserving their heritage.

With aspirations of landing a spot on Netflix and gaining global recognition, the nomination and screening at the Nollywood Film Festival mark a significant milestone for the project. The festival, which is dedicated to showcasing the best of Nollywood to the German audience, aims to foster international trade and exchange opportunities in this growing market.
