In the world of Southern rap, Paul Wall is a legend. Off stage, he’s a family man, married to his wife, Crystal, for nearly two decades.
Crystal, a Texas native like her husband, is more than just the wife of a famous rapper. She’s a dance fitness entrepreneur and content creator, known for her dance fitness class called Wall House Fit. Alongside Paul, she appeared in the documentary “Feel Rich: Health is the New Wealth” where hip-hop artists discussed their healthy lifestyle choices.
Hosting a fitness event during Super Bowl 51 in Houston, Crystal made history with the first-ever fitness concert at the Super Bowl. The couple met when Crystal was just 22, selling Paul a CD in a club. Despite the scratched CD, Paul recalled her when they met again and tried to dance with her.
Together, Paul and Crystal have two children, a son and a daughter who are both teenagers. Paul has been open about the challenges of raising mixed-race children, sharing his experiences with hate and death threats on social media.
