TV personality Michelle Visage is not only a well-known judge on the hit series RuPaul’s Drag Race, but she also has a fascinating personal life that fans are eager to learn more about.

One aspect of her life that often piques curiosity is her relationship with her husband, David Case.

Michelle, whose real name is Michelle Lynn Shupack, was born on September 20, 1968, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Before rising to fame as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, she was a member of music groups Seduction and The S.O.U.L.S.Y.S.T.E.M.

Michelle also co-hosted a show alongside RuPaul in New York City during the ’80s, where the two bonded over the underground ballroom scene.

It wasn’t until 2011 that Michelle joined RuPaul’s Drag Race as a guest judge, eventually becoming a permanent judge during season three.

Her role on the show has earned her three Primetime Emmy Awards and she also produces various spinoffs of RuPaul’s Drag Race.

Michelle is not only known for her judging duties but also hosts the show’s aftershow Whatcha Packin’.

Apart from her successful career, Michelle is happily married to author and screenwriter David Case.

Born near Gunnison, Colorado, David has a passion for science and has published a five-part sci-fi novel series under the name Jax Spenser. He is also listed as the business manager of Michelle’s company, House of Visage, LLC.

The couple tied the knot in 1997 after meeting at an industry party while Michelle was singing with Seduction.

In a heartwarming Instagram post on their 26th anniversary, Michelle expressed her love and appreciation for David, calling him “unstoppable.”

Michelle and David share two children, Lillie and Lola. In a public interview, Michelle revealed that her eldest daughter, Lillie, identifies as queer and is currently in transition.

She emphasized the importance of love and acceptance for her daughter’s authentic self, stating, “They are not living a lie, and all they really need is love.”
