Guy Fieri, the beloved Food Network star, has been in the spotlight not only for his culinary creations but also for his long-lasting marriage to Lori Brisson. The couple tied the knot in 1995 and have been together for over 20 years.
Lori Brisson, who hails from New Providence in Rhode Island, shares a passion for food with her celebrity chef husband. Guy Fieri has credited their successful marriage to compromise and understanding, stating on The Today Show, “To get here, you have to be willing to adapt and understand.”
The couple met in 1992 at Stouffer’s in Long Beach, California, where Guy was managing the restaurant. Lori made a stop on her way to a friend’s house in San Diego, and the rest is history. Despite the changes over the years, including Guy’s signature look with his goatee and trademark blond hair, Lori still genuinely likes her husband and enjoys their time together.
Guy and Lori are parents to two children, with their first son Hunter born in 1996 and their second son Ryder born in 2005. In addition to their biological children, the couple also became legal guardians to Guy’s nephew Jules after the tragic passing of Jules’ mother in 2011.
The Fieri family enjoys spending quality time together barbecuing in the backyard and swimming in the pool. Guy describes their perfect nights as hunkering down at home, surrounded by their loved ones.
