Eric Bolling rose to fame as a TV personality, author, and conservative political commentator but has faced challenges finding his footing after parting ways with Fox News in 2017. Since then, he has had brief stints at various networks, including Blaze Media, Sinclair Broadcast Group, and most recently, Newsmax.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1963, Bolling initially pursued a career in professional baseball before transitioning to work as a commodities trader on Wall Street. He later joined Fox Business Network in 2008, where he hosted several shows and served as a co-host for programs like The Five and The O’Reilly Factor.

In 2016, Bolling authored his first book, “Wake Up America: The Nine Virtues That Made Our Nation Great – and Why We Need Them More Than Ever,” followed by “The Swamp: Washington’s Murky Pool of Corruption and Cronyism and How Trump Can Drain It” in 2017.

However, Bolling’s time at Fox News came to an end in 2017 following allegations of inappropriate behavior towards female colleagues, which he denied. Tragically, the same day he departed from Fox News, his son, Eric, passed away from an accidental drug overdose.

Despite these challenges, Bolling continued to pursue opportunities in the media industry, landing gigs at Conservative Review’s CRTV, TheBlaze network, and Sinclair Broadcast Group. In June 2021, he joined Newsmax and began hosting a show called “Eric Bolling The Balance,” which quickly became one of the network’s most-viewed programs.

However, Newsmax announced on May 31, 2024, that they were parting ways with Bolling after three years of collaboration. As of now, Bolling has not revealed his next career move, leaving fans and viewers curious about what the future holds for the seasoned TV personality.
