On May 23, 2024, Hollywood makeup artist Allie Shehorn was tragically stabbed at her Los Angeles home in the early hours of the morning.
Authorities later apprehended her estranged boyfriend, actor Nick Pasqual, in connection with the incident. Nick Pasqual, a California native, has appeared in popular TV shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Archive 81.
Prior to his acting career, Pasqual worked as a scare actor at Universal Studios Hollywood during Halloween Horror Nights. Little is known about his personal life aside from his professional accomplishments.
Nick Pasqual was arrested on May 29, 2024, for allegedly stabbing Allie Shehorn more than 20 times following a break-in at her residence. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office stated that Pasqual broke into Allie’s home at 4:30 am to carry out the violent attack.
This horrifying incident occurred shortly after Allie had filed for a restraining order against Pasqual. Following the crime, Pasqual fled the scene and was detained at the US/Mexico border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.
Pasqual has been charged with attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary, and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child’s parent.
If found guilty, he could face a life sentence in prison. Allie Shehorn, a talented makeup artist known for her work on popular films like Mean Girls and Rebel Moon, was rushed to the hospital after the attack and underwent multiple surgeries.
District Attorney George Gascón expressed his sympathy for Allie and emphasized the importance of holding those responsible for domestic violence accountable for their actions.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Allie with her medical expenses and rehabilitation as she continues on the path to recovery.
