Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has spoken out against the alleged involvement of Abu Ramadan, the brother of Samira Bawumia, in the recent property demolitions in Accra.
In a widely circulated interview, Shatta Wale expressed his concerns about the abuse of power and asset accumulation by those in authority.
Shatta Wale emphasized the importance of upholding equality and condemned the indiscriminate demolitions that have become commonplace. He cited examples of countries where such actions would not be tolerated, highlighting the need for accountability and justice.
The reports of Abu Ramadan’s involvement in the demolitions, including properties owned by a brother of Kennedy Agyapong, have stirred controversy.
However, Mrs. Samira Bawumia has denied any connection to the incident and dismissed the accusations as an attempt to tarnish her reputation and that of her husband as the country prepares for the upcoming elections.
