Ghanaian music producer, Quick Action, has shared his prediction for the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, tipping dancehall artiste Stonebwoy to clinch the prestigious Artiste of the Year accolade.
In a post on social media, Quick Action commended Stonebwoy for his hard work and achievements in the music industry, stating that he deserves the recognition due to his international collaborations and successful annual musical concerts.
Having closely observed Stonebwoy’s musical journey and growth, Quick Action emphasized that the artiste’s ability to break boundaries and gain global recognition sets him apart from his competitors.
The Artiste of the Year category at the Ghana Music Awards is awarded to the artiste with the highest audience appeal and popularity in the year under review. The recipient must have released hit singles, EPs, or albums and garnered multiple nominations.
Stonebwoy is up against tough competition from artists like Kuami Eugene, King Promise, Sarkodie, Nacee, and Black Sherif in the Artiste of the Year category. Additionally, he has secured nominations in various other categories such as Most Popular Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and more.
The highly anticipated 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre on June 1, 2025. Aside from the Artiste of the Year category, awards will be presented in several other categories including Songwriter of the Year, Record of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, New Artiste of the Year, and Gospel Song of the Year.
