Renowned Ghanaian media personality, Blakk Rasta, also known as the Kuchoko Legend, recently opened up about his birth details and spiritual beliefs during an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo show.

The reggae singer-songwriter proudly disclosed that he was born on “Monday, September 2, 1974, at 7:20 PM on the dot,” weighing 5.5 pounds. He emphasized the importance of being open about one’s age and rejecting the “inferiority complex” that often leads people to hide their true age.

Blakk Rasta acknowledged that some individuals fear legal repercussions or superstitions associated with revealing their age. However, he boldly stated his actual age even on public platforms like radio, demonstrating his commitment to transparency.

Reflecting on his background, Blakk Rasta shared his journey from Tamale to Kumasi for schooling before eventually settling in Accra. He expressed gratitude for his upbringing and highlighted the value of being honest and open about one’s past.

Furthermore, Blakk Rasta delved into his spiritual beliefs, describing himself as “half god and half human.” He stressed the importance of constant prayer and gratitude, debunking misconceptions about the complexity of prayers.
