Ghanaian actress Nikki Samonas recently shared her inspiring journey from a challenging childhood to achieving fame during her appearance on ‘The Ladies Circle’.

Nikki opened up about the difficulties she faced after her father’s passing when she was just ten years old, debunking any notions of a privileged upbringing. She disclosed that her life was filled with hardships, constant relocations, and numerous obstacles.

Reflecting on her early struggles, Nikki revealed that the idea of attaining fame and success once seemed out of reach. However, these adversities have shaped her into the person she is today and have motivated her to consider writing a memoir.

“I never ever thought, felt, fathomed, dreamed that I would end up in the limelight,” she shared with the audience.

As a child, Nikki harbored a dream of becoming a UN Ambassador for refugees, a dream that came to fruition when she was appointed as the National Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR in 2020.

“For me, I wanted to work with the UN. That’s the one thing I wanted to do that I have actually seen come to life as the Global UN Ambassador for Refugees. I felt that I am half-caste, I wanted to learn languages and work with the United Nations and eventually, it has happened,” she expressed.
