Hailing from North Carolina, Sanders comes from a family of musicians and learned to play the guitar at a young age. A husband and father of five, he tragically lost his son on the day he was born, turning to music as a way to cope with the devastating loss.
Sanders wowed the judges during the Blind Auditions with his rendition of Nate Smith’s Whiskey On You, earning turns from Reba McEntire and Dan + Shay. Opting to join Team Reba, Sanders has continued to showcase his talent and passion for music as the season progresses.
The season finale of The Voice will be held over two nights, with the finalists performing one last time on May 20, 2024, to win over the audience’s support. Viewers will then have the opportunity to vote for their favorite contestant, with the winner set to be revealed on May 21, 2024.
